The CF2 Series is a versatile flatbed cutting plotter system that is capable of cutting various kinds of media with high accuracy without dies. Out of a total of 30 kinds of line-up, you can choose the one best suited for your needs. By cutting the printed media, you may produce high value-added products on demand required. Begin multi-type small-lot production with unprecedented high quality.

Composite Materials can be half cut

With the ability to adjust the depth of the cutter blade, you can half-cut composite, laminated material etc. As two tools can be used, you can perform different types of half - cutting without changing tools.

Thick Materials can be Outline-Cut accurately - Mark Sensor

With the adoption of a high performance colour photo sensor, the register marks printed on the media are detected and the position of the origin, inclination or co-ordinates and distance are adjusted as necessary. The sensor recognises the difference of the colour of media and colour of round register marks, and enables the cutter to perform cuts accurately. A light pointer is used as a marker when setting the media which is a standard in all CF2 Series and facilitates position adjustment with round register marks.

Start & End Point Correction

The starting & ending positions of cutting are corrected, which makes cut-away of media smoother.

Circle Correction

Declination of starting point & ending point of a circle cutting caused by thickness or hardness of the media is corrected & cutting of a perfect circle is now available.

Press Correction

To ensure complete clean cutting, the pressure of the tool coming down is easily adjustable.

Back Cutting

Creating a beautiful finish, back cutting is possible by attaching mark chips to the back surface so that excess cut is not seen from the front.

Repeated Cutting

The Mimaki CF2 Series is capable of repeat cutting up to a maximum of 5 times, changing the cutting pressure. With one time data sending you can cut even thick material with a high quality finish.

Multiple registration of cutting conditions

Cutting conditions such as pressure, speed, correction of starting & ending points, circle correction, offsets etc by cutting tools can be registered for multiple cuts.
Available in two varieties - CF2-TD/RC or CF2-T/TF/RT the Mimaki CF2 Series Cutter is a great start up for print cut combinations.

Provided with felt mat required when reciprocal cutter is used.

Possible to perform an on demand production quickly responding to an order as small as 1 piece.

RT Head (electric reciprocating cutter)
By reciprocating the cutter up & down at high speed, even thick material of up to 20mm can be cut. Up to 10mm thick, you can cut while pressing materials. Various material such as foamed material including sponge can be cut.
