 Selectable clamp pressure with high & low setting ensures accurate cutting of various media.
Selectable jog speed of low, medium and high settings to ensure proper and easy positioning of the media.
Over-cut function makes the starting and ending points overlapped, which eliminates uncut portion of the media.
Media can be loaded from back or front.
Up to 6 rolls of media can be set at a time. ( 1 set is standard)
Optional pen adaptor is included.
Continuous High Speed Crop Mark Detection
With the CG-FXII Plotter Cutter an optical sensor enables automatic detection of crop marks throughout the image which has been printed on the inkjet printer.
By continuously detecting a max. of 4 pts, nested images in both the X & Y axis can be cut automatically aligning each image. |
Light pointer easily adjusts the head position to crop marks. |
'Half-Cut' Mechanism - a Proprietary technology from Mimaki
With the original half cut function, the backing sheet can be cut leaving a little bit of half cut connecting points, which can easily be detached when necessary.
Various media without backing sheets can be also cut still leaving small connecting pieces intact allowing the images to remain in place.

Contour Cutting
With the Mimaki Contour Cut Method, it is possible to cut the sticker ( or other top layer) and not the backing sheet through the half-cut function. The contour cutting method ensures accurate contour where the registration mark detection recognises marks that are printed on the media. Through recognising these marks the distance to the image can be accurately calculated.
