Powerful Mimaki Software Included

The Mimaki CF3 Flatbed Cutter is supplied with the high performance cutting software - Mimaki Plotter Assistant and FineCut7.

Cutting data is created with FineCut7. The cutting conditions are then set up and the status of the plotter is monitored with the Plotter Assistant Software.

Together the software applications enable full utilisation of the capabilities of the Mimaki CF3 Series.

The CF3 Series incorporates three interchangeable head types ( Router Head, Tangential Head and Reciprocating Head ) which allows for cutting a wide range of materials.
Switching heads can be done relatively quickly.
Other tools such as Swivel Cutter, Pen Tool and creasing tool add to the strength and versatility of the Mimaki Flatbed CF3 Series.

Supports both small and large size media up to 1.6m x 3.1m (63" x 122"). Even difficult acrylic or aluminium composite panels can be cut with consistently high accuracy. User exchangeable cutting heads to suit a wide range of conditions widen your possibilities greatly.

THREE MODELS : ROUTER MODEL (M HEAD)

Rigid materials such as Acrylic & Aluminium can be cut with a high speed spindle. The Router Model is especially suitable to cut rigid and thicker materials.

The cut depth control function enables multiple cuts for especially thick materials.

THREE MODELS : TANGENTIAL MODEL (R1 HEAD)

The Tangential cutter steers the blade as it cuts. The motor controlled blade lifts and turns to start every cut at the exact angle. Both half and die cutting is possible. Various materials ranging from soft to ridged can be cut. The cutting capabilities and cutting depth depend on the type of material. Any suitable blade available in the market can be mounted.

THREE MODELS : RECIPROCATING MODEL (TF2 HEAD)

A reciprocating cutting system is characterised by the up-and-down movement of the cutter blade in addition to tangential cutting. The reciprocating cutter is especially suitable to cut corrugated board, cardboard and foam materials.

Creasing tools are available to produce creases in cardboards and corrugated boards. You can also cut materials that can be cut with the tangential model.

COLOUR PHOTO SENSOR

The patented Mimaki Colour Photo Sensor on CF3 reads registration marks (

)that are printed on the media to obtain more precision by automatic correction of alignment & distances.
:: Sensor :: By recognising the difference between the colour of the media & of the registration marks (

), the position of the registration marks is correctly detected regardless of the colour of the media.
:: Light Pointer :: The registration marks (

)can be located easily and can be used to precisely position the media on the bad.
:: 4-point adjustment :: By detecting 4 registration marks & adjusting alignment & distance, precise contour cutting of complex shapes is enhanced.

MEDIA IS FIRMLY HELD BY VACUUM SYSTEM

The reverse cycle Vacuum System is divided into zones, 6 for the CF3-1631 and 2 for the CF3-1610. These zones can be separately activated to suit the media size for optimal media hold. The blower function ( reversing the air stream) can be activated to easily position and replace heavy media.

AUTOMATIC CLEANING OF THE TABLE SURFACE

Ensuring that dust and media particles are removed from the surface of the table is vital in the smooth precision cutting of the Mimaki CF3 when the Router Head ( M Head) is used. The automatic cleaning function selects the area to be cleaned from a total of 8 sections.
