Variable Dot Technology varies the dots/inch according to the density & size, enabling full coverage of highlights & shadows, producing a rich range of colour graduations. Just four colours using variable dot technology can produce the same image quality as six-colour non variable print. Natural & Beautiful images are possible with lower resolution printing - such as those used with large scale signs. Staggered Print Heads Bring Greater Speed The staggered print heads improve print quality and supercharge the printing speed. ( as seen in the images below) With its staggered heads, the printer prints a 4 in. swath in a single run and therefore gains a speed advantage over conventional printers, much like painting with a wider brush.
