FineCut7 utilises the capabilities of the CF2 & CF3 Cutters to the fullest. The software optimises the cutting performance in direction, speed, start position, cutting order & cutting depth.

CUTTING PREVIEW

Before starting to cut the start position, cutting line, cut direction and cutting order, etc can be checked and modified as required to ensure perfect cutting every time.

FINAL PASS CONTROL ( EFFECTIVE FOR CF3)

With FineCut7 you can set which areas are to be cut last to ensure smooth clean cuts are maintained. The last part of the pass is not cut in full to prevent the material from shifting .

The final stages of the cutting process is completed with the final cuts being done with low force cutting.

SPLINE APPROXIMATION (CF2/CF3 SERIES)

By making spline approximation output of the Bezie Curve, the head moves at a constant speed.

This ensure that smooth cuts can be made consistently, even at a connecting parts of lines.

MULTIPLE CUT OF THE SAME PART WITH DIFFERENT CUT CONDITIONS

When a hard or thick material is cut with Mimaki CF2 and Mimaki CF3 Series Cutters, it is often wiser to cut the same section multiple times to create a clean cut, rather than one heavy cut that may damage the media.

Finecut7 allows you to set cut depth and speed on each cut pass to allow for greater control and precision.

SETTING CUTTING CONDITIONS FOR CF3 M-HEAD ( MILLING)

Cutting conditions with endmill can be set from FineCut7.

EXTRACTING OUTLINE OF IMAGE DATA

This is a function to automatically extract outlines of the image data that has no path such as images in BMP, JPEG and TIFF format which can then be read with CorelDRAW and Illustrator.

Cut lines can now be created easily from the image data which could not be created prior to creating outlines.

LINE SEGMENT CORRECTION (ONLY FOR ILLUSTRATOR VERSION)

Once the outline has been extracted by "Outline extraction"tool, it may be necessary to clean up some of the outlines to refine it to the data with higher accuracy.
With "Line segment correction tool", this can be done with ease.
