JV3-250 SPF features the new AMF-250 automatic media feeding device, in which a tension bar moves up & down to secure even media tension. This means you can reliably feed heavy and hard-to-feed media rolls for superior & consistent print quality.
This printer is designed to print up to 98” wide and any length in a single piece with no seams or joints to interrupt the design. An added feature is the JV3-250SPF's ability to print on Two rolls, up to 1,150mm(45") wide each, can be printed simultaneously, side by side for those rush jobs during the busiest time of the year
A wide variety of materials including vinyl banner material and fabric among many others can be used as substrate. Use of solvent ink makes the output of this machine perfect for indoor or outdoor uses as it can print directly onto non-coated media - a powerful tool for cutting costs! Plus, newly developed solvent ink for images that last for years.
This is one of the few stretch-models of inkjet printer that offers white ink. The Mimaki JV3-250SPF can print in dual-CMYK mode, or with 6 colors, or 6 plus two white channels. Quality printing with Mimaki's superb variable ink dot size production at high resolution of 1440 x 1440 dpi.
The printer also has a 24 hour automatic cleaning system to ensure the machine's nozzles are always in good working order
