Optional Exhaust System

The new JV33 Series Solvent Ink Version can further reduce environmental concerns by installing an optional exhaust system.

The system consists of exhaust fans that are attached to the front of the machine, effectively removing solvent fumes.

When more ventilation is required, exhaust ducts on the back of the machine can be added, and finally to achieve a totally comfortable, odour less environment, an exhaust curtain is attached to the front of the machine.

Mimaki JV33 Wide Format Inkjet

Following in the footsteps of the revolutionary JV3, the Mimaki JV33 Series was created. In addition to various enhancements which bring out a higher quality print of 1440 dpi, the new JV33 Series has increased print speed. Mimaki's flagship product has established high standards which set it apart from the competition.

A newly developed high speed print head makes ultra-high resolution & high speed printing possible.

The JV33 Series employs a newly developed high speed piezo print head enabling it to print at a resolution of up to 1440 dpi with a max speed of up to 17.5 sqm. The newly developed print head now has 180 nozzles x 8 lines allowing for highest accuracy in 4 & 6 colour modes, with or without white.

White Ink Overlay Print

In some applications such as printing on transparent or opaque media, Mimaki's exclusive "White Ink Overlay Print" can be employed where simultaneous white & full colour printing results in incomparably bright, vivid & high quality prints.

Variable Dot Technology

By producing dots in three different sizes, smooth high resolution graphics are created without a grainy appearance. Even at high speed and in low resolution mode high quality printing is possible.

Furthermore, the JV33 Series is equipped with Mimaki's UISS ( Uninterrupted Ink Supply System). In four colour mode the system uses 2 cartridges per colour - therefore extending uninterrupted & unsupervised printing without intervention. As soon as one cartridge is empty, the other cartridge kicks in & starts supplying ink. The print production is not interrupted and changing of cartridges can be done on the fly.

3 stage heater for greater ink uptake & printing speed

Ink Performance is improved through the Innovative Triple Stage Intelligent Heater.
A triple stage intelligent heater automatically heats up the media to the appropriate temperature before printing. During the print process the second print heater & third post heater enables even higher print quality & fast drying time, especially on uncoated media. An optional drying fan is available to shorten the drying process further.

Individually adjustable print head height between 2-3mm ( dependant on media thickness) for solvent models or 4-5mm for use of dye sublimation transfer paper for aqueous models further ensure high image quality.

To prevent media & head jams the JV33 Series comes standard with a multi-point grid roller system.
