TX Link Colour Book

THE COLOUR VARIATION DESIGNING SOFTWARE

Tx Link Colour Book designates the ink limit of each colour set in the printer. It allows you to create and save colours into your own colour book.

Tx Link Colour Book is divided into two sections:
TxLink Book Editor is used to create original colours to be plotted to the Tx2-1600 and register them to your own colour book. This is a great way to create, store & save specific colours for use later on, for example in logo design or corporate branding.

The ink amount specification method is employed as the original colour creation method, allowing all-out colour arrangement by blending 100% black ink and other ink.

TxLink colour Book is colour substitution file generation software used to make plotting with different colour arrangements.

This software displays the patches for the number of colours used for design and allows you to specify the combination of colour arrangement by assigning substituted colours to each patch. For specification of substituted colours, the standard colour can be used in addition to the original colours created using TxLink Book Editor.

FAQ

Q:What is the advantage of colour replacement.

A: The various patterns of difference colours are able to plot without changing the original colours. A file in which colour replacement data is stored is no more than a few KB, and occupies less space compared to storing several broken patterns.
Tx Link Colour Book also enables to you achieve greater control over specifying replacement colour by the ink mixing rate. For eg: You require a more reddish black colour so you would specify an ink mixing rate of red=5% into 100% black ink.

Q: What image formats are accepted?

A: RGB256 colour mode image in TIFF & BITMAP formats.

Q: Is there a method to determine the appropriate ink mixing rate?

A: Use "Patch Print" function to figure out the appropriate ink mixing rate. Create a file for patch print with TxLink-BookEditor and plot the file with TxLink-Print. Adjust the ink mixing rate referred to the plotted data.
